Zakaria College of Pharmacy was born in the year 2013 in the under of Islamia Education Trust, Gulbarga and the brain child of Shri. Mohammad Hussain. The management is committed to provide the student with the necessary environment and the support for their career planning and advancement.
The College is affiliated to Board of Examining Authority, Bangalore and Pharmacy Council of India, New Delhi. The college has well experienced and well qualified faculty as well as good infrastructural facilities with well-equipped modern laboratories and classrooms with audio-visual aids like LCD, OHP etc. A well designed computer laboratory provides internet facility to individual student.
The college library with its vast and eclectic collection of books, national and international scientific journals, pharmaceutical magazines and e-journals quenches the thirst for knowledge of both staff and students. The journey to fulfill the vision of imparting quality education in the field of pharmaceutical sciences has been initiated with great enthusiasm.

Scholarship
- These are also available for minorities’ students.
- Those students who may got more than 80% in the first year. They are also eligible to get scholarship from management.
Hostel Accommodation
There are many different types of accommodation available to students, each varying in cost and inclusions.
- Accommodation is available in campus hostels separately for girls and boys. The campus has separate girls hostel blocks and boys’ hostel blocks. Students have options to housed in single or share room accommodation. The rooms are furnished with 24 hours internet access. There are shared kitchens, television area and large open space for social events.

The Training & Placement
The training and placement cell has the aim of providing the best opportunities to our students when they stride into the hospital / pharmaceutical industries. Whether it is about placing them for three months practical training to become a registered pharmacist or about final placement.
M.M.D. society institute of pharmacy maintains a placement cells comprising of qualified placement executives. The term ascetically works towards training and placement of students.
